Today we left Dubai and flew to Rome. Once in the city, we explored the streets and visited the Pantheon.
We drove through the countryside to our temporary home near Piazza Navona. The city is filled with little alleyways to walk through; each with great little restaurants.
Because we are so close to the square, we dropped off our bags and headed to Piazza Navona (shown below) to people watch as we drank espresso and ate gelato.
We then took a five minute walk to the Pantheon. The structure is massive with an amazing attention to detail.
After, we walked the streets to find a good dinner place. We decided to only eat somewhere were we saw many locals to avoid the typical tourist traps. This payed off, and we found some amazing food. We could tell we were in Italy because the wine menu was two inches thick and much larger than the food menu.
