Day 9: Burj Khalifa

Today we visited the Burj Khalifa to see the views from the worlds tallest building and to check out The Dubai Mall.

We traveled from our hotel to The Mall of Dubai. The mall is unbelievably massive with every store you can imagine. There is also an Olympic size ice skating rink, an aquarium, and a movie theater inside. The basement of the mall connects to the entrance of the Burj Khalifa. We took the elevator up to the 124th floor (there are 163 floors total). It took one full minute to go from the first floor to the observation deck. From the deck, we could see the entire city of Dubai. It was amazing how far out we could see.

We also watched the water show at The Dubai Fountain.
