Day 17: Speeding to Venice

We took the bullet train from Rome to Venice today. After taking a water taxi and checking into our home in San Marco, we walked the streets and enjoyed the local restaurants.

We started by taking the bullet train to Venice. The station was packed with people.

After arriving, we took a Grand Canal water taxi to the stop near our home in San Marco.

We then explored the city to find places we wanted to spend more time at tomorrow. The city is very beautiful to walk through. While Rome feels impressive, Venice felt more relaxing and interesting to look at.
