I recently traveled to Taipei, Taiwan for a business trip. While there, I found many great local restaurants. I loved the fresh seafood and night markets! In this post, I highlight my two favorite restaurants.
One of my favorite places was Mitsui Japanese Restaurant. I ate at the Sushi bar here, right next to the live crab tanks. I did the premium chef selection: an 8 course meal of land and sea. Definitely try the wagyu sampler here.
My next recommendation is Addiction Aquatic Development. This is a hidden gem tucked away in a market. They have a sit-down area, as well as a standing Sushi Bar. I highly recommend their local, seasonal fish (especially the Tuna). They also had live tanks of sea creatures! I had a few of their wagyu skewers as well.
Last but not least, Din Thai Fung 101 is always a great option. There is one in Taipei 101, but be sure to check out the original restaurant location as well!
